Early years

Born 1954 in Romania, immigrated to Israel 1960. Zeev Klein's journey as an artist begins as early as his childhood at "Qiryat Ha'Amanim, Zefat", at little Zefat of the 60's. There, serving as an apprentice, he has served as a paintbrush-washer to the artists of the Old City of Zefat of the mid-century. Amongst them: Herman Zvi, Yitshak Frenkel-Frenel and Anna Madeley. In this enchanted surrounding, amongst the founding fathers of art of the country, Zeev has fallen in love with the magic of art and has begun painting. As time advanced, he has acquired a profession at the Technion, Landscape architecture, while never putting down his paintbrush and sculpture tools.
